When will I need to wear deodorant?
As soon as you notice an unpleasant smell, or increased wetness under your arms, it is time to wear deodorant. This usually happens around 10 years old.

Where will I grow hair?
You may have darker or thicker hair on your arms or legs. Then you may begin to notice hair under your arms. Finally, you will see hair around your genitals. This is called pubic hair because it grows over your pubic bone.

Do I have to shave?
No. Shaving is a personal choice. If you do decide to shave, use plenty of shaving crème and your own razor. NEVER share razors with anyone. Some serious diseases are spread that way. Ask an adult for help before you begin to shave.
